Blind spot

1 This span records activity, not meaning — impact can't be determined

2 Cache lookup has no trace context — failures here will be invisible

3 Response prep is uninstrumented — the cause of your last outage lived here

You can't debug what your system can't explain.

What does ByteTale do?

ByteTale analyzes OpenTelemetry traces, metrics, and logs to identify where systems lack the context required to explain behavior, performance, or failures. Instead of dashboards or alerts, ByteTale focuses on explainability: whether telemetry answers who was affected, why it happened, and what changed.

ByteTale works with OpenTelemetry-based telemetry as well as common vendor setups.
